True, but I was hoping not to since I have a new laptop to screw around with 
first. :-)  Knowing that something is hackable is nice, but I will probably 
be using the stock firmware for quite a while, which is why I was asking 
about it.

Is the WRT53GL's stock firmware worthwhile?  

It seems weird to see Linksys recommended over D-Link so much, since the last 
time I was in this market (admittedly some time ago) it was the exact 
opposite.
