I'll be using hardware raid. As far as the open/closed source drivers, that's
not an issue for me. I'm more concerned with it working with little to no
fuss on my part.
I haven't had any issues with my current 3ware cards, but I'm told that the
adaptec is faster which is the main reason I'm considering it (plus it's
slightly cheaper, cheaper is good :D ).
