[LUNI] (OT) Fiber and fiber management

Hello, I have a quick question on Fiber management.
On our latest job we got to handle some of the fiber cabling (just 
pre-terminated cables).
I'm having trouble locating the orange flexible conduit through our normal 
suppliers and was wondering if anyone had a source for it local or not.  
Is it just called flexible conduit (this is what I've always heard it referred 
to).
Also I have one workstation that is on wheels with about a 12' range.  I have 
all my other cables (audio/video/control) run neatly together on the floor, 
but the fiber I have is light duty, will die the first time it gets run over.
What it the terminology for the heavier jacketed fiber that I have seen run 
between rooms (Not the barely flexible armored stuff, just something with a 
heavy jacket that may experience some abuse).   
Any ideas on running/protecting this fiber run are welcome, the client has 
been informed that it will be just a question of when and not if this fiber 
run will fail, but I would like to do the best job with it I can.

(OT- No Linux machines in this install, unfortunately AVID video editing 
systems only run on Win$#@s)
