Are they paranoid if there really *is* someone out to get them?

Not really having any idea what the OP's office is doing, we can only
speculate about the threat model he should be worrying about.  Possibly
that 10K professional job would be a bargin - or woefully inadequate. 
Though in either case I have to wonder where they found a disused bank
vault large enough for them all...
