[LUNI] Ever heard of SimplyMEPIS Linux?

Actually I use ubuntu here at work for my linux servers. Since its Debian based
its very stable and works very well. I have run in to a couple of minor problems
but for the most part it works like any other setup. Also if you do an "expert"
install you can setup a root password.

A main focus of Ubuntu is to try and make linux less scary for your average user
, and IMHO they are doing very well with that. As well as doing somethings to
bring linux out of the server racks and on to desktops. Check out Edubuntu, that
is very nice for a LOT of educational users. Advanced users also can easily
change some of the default behavior of Ubuntu to a the "standard" linux behavior
with very little ease.
