You may wish to try Opera (if you don't mind using proprietary software).
With older versions, you can hit F12 and a popup menu will list the various
browsers that Opera can pretend to be. In the latest version, you still need
to hit F12, but then you need to choose Edit Site Preferences, then go to the
Network tab to choose which browser to identify as. Even doing this, there
are still some sites that refuse to work right with a non IE browser.
Otherwise, you'll either need to install Crossover Office and then use that to
install IE6, or perhaps look at VMWare/Win4Lin/Parallels.
