[LUNI] Newbie needs help

Most likely, there is a JavaScript error on the page. Or, the form
action is pointing the same page?
I would load the "Web Developer" and "HTML Validator" add-ons. I use
these every day, and they are great for figuring out bugs.

After installing the add-ons, restart the browser, and load the page.
Click "Error Console" under the Tools menu.
You will see a pop-up window with warnings and errors for any
JavaScript. Also look in the status bar for HTML errors and/or warnings
from the validator.

Whatever the case, the website owner needs to fix the page.

Subject: [LUNI] Newbie needs help

I have two very non-technical employees using Mandrake 10.2 with
Konqueror 340 (KDE340) on a 9-yr-old Dell. They need to be able to
enter reports on a private website that just about requires IE 6 or
higher. They can log on, but are stopped by a "next" button written in
javascript. The button in question doesn't work in Mozilla/Seamonkey on

Windows either, I believe the site is generated by some WYSIWYG program.

Is there anything they can use to emulate IE6? They do have a technical

friend (who installed Linux for them in the first place) who can install

anything needed.

I realize this is a longshot, but any advice would be appreciated.

Janine
