Phew, hard one to answer. It depends on what you want out of it. I was a
contractor for a lot of years because it gave me a wide variety of good
experience in a short period of time. The down side was, I didn't make
as much as I could have, and job stability was an issue. Most contracts
I was on were six months, right to hire most of the time. The REALLY
good part of this, was that it let me try out the company first. The
down side is, the companies that use contractors, to me ended up being
places I didn't want to work. YMMV.
For the record, I had good experiences with Ajilon, and TEK Systems. Of
the two, Ajilon had OK benefits, and TEK had really crappy benefits, but
paid decently.
