[LUNI] Samba?

Hey there;

I'm hoping to get a little free advice on a Small Office setup.

Uncommon Ground (where I work a second job) has gotten to the point
where Managers are standing around in the Office, waiting to use the
one (1) computer, a Windows 98SE box, or coming in on their day off to
get some computer time, or negotiating time-slices to sit down on the
thing...

So they're gonna buy another one, and we need to share the Word and
Publish files between the two.

So I want Samba, right?

For a couple hundred Word and Publish documents, most about 1 page
long, what's a min spec?

I've got an old box sitting at home, Pentium, 128M RAM, 20G hard
drive.  Think that would cut it?

I know almost nothing about Windows and even less about Samba.  How
tricky is this gonna be?...

These are people who pass USB cables back and forth instead of
plugging their brand-new printers into the network hub that's a foot
away, just to give you an idea of the environment we are dealing with
here... :-)

I'll network the printers while I'm at it.

Am I even on the right track here?

If OpenOffice had a Publish replacement, I'd just get them a couple
Linux boxes...
