I'm not going to add my 2c in for what provider you should use, but
please note that fastmail.fm uses Cyrus IMAP.  My company has been using
Cyrus in a very small environment (600k msgs/day; 7k+ mailboxes) for
about 4 years.  It is the most scalable, full featured IMAP server I've
ever configured or administrated.  Specifically, it handles large
folders far better than most other IMAP servers I've seen.
