Sure.  I remember installing Windows NT from CD when I knew basically
nothing about it.  That was some learning curve... and I still remember
learning that they'd grossly compromised what should have been a
reasonably secure system in order to accomodate their fsking office
suite's childish need to be able to scribble in some system directories
at will.  But I've put that all behind me now.
