Where did you hear this?

I've read that AT&T's new UVerse service doesn't require a phone line from 
AT&T.  This was listed in the FAQ on their website at 
https://uverse1.att.com/launchAMSS.do

Althought, it doesn't look like it's being offered in the Chicago area at this 
time.  And I don't know if they would allow servers.
