If you can find someone who wants it, I would suggest you not worry
about whether it's worth ten cetns or twenty cents. :-/

In the sense that you might get away with it, I suppose that could be
said to be true. Please don't, though: monitors are full of fairly
hazardous materials that should be properly recycled. The annual
splurge of freecycling events was last month, but there are some from
time to time yet if you look around.
