Hey all my Penguin People!!


Since we're in the hump of the week, I'd thought I would announce the
upcoming events for this weekend with DePaul Linux Community!! First
up, we have a tech talk by one of our own Brenton Bade on the Magnetic
Stripe Technologies! It'll be happening tommorow, Thursday October the
25th, in room 200 at CTI (243 S. Wabash), starting at 6:30pm.

Next, we have a Sunday (Oct. 28th) extravaganza to bring in the
Halloween Festivities, with our own Penguin Halloween party!! Hosted
along with JMAC and DeFrag, it's a Dance/LAN/Gaming Tourneys all
rolled in to one fantastic party!! The Party starts at 4:00pm and
lasts till 10:00pm, in Cortelyou Commons (2324 Freemont St).   There
will be some a small fee for the tourney, but everything else is
pretty much a free for all(so come with fun in mind!!). And Don't
forget to bring you costumes, because we're judging, with prizes for
the best!!
