[LUNI] List Etiquette

There is a group of Perl programmers here in Chicago who are putting
together some training classes and a hack-a-thon in December.  The
classes are for pay/profit and the hack-a-thon is for free.  I know
that announcing the hack-a-thon on this list is okay, but is
announcing the details of the open training within the bounds of what
typically shows up on the list?
