[LUNI] Can anyone help me get xubuntu installed?

Hi David,

A good place to start is the Ubuntu forums. For example, here is a 
rather long thread from a year ago by someone with your problem:

There are various suggestions there and the person did eventually get 
his working. Some people claim to have had success by burning the CD's 
at the slowest possible speed because apparently the G3 cdroms are 
touchy, so you might want to give that a try for starters.
