Depending on the service you get with with WOW, your modem may limit the
speed. I read on dslreports.com that the top speed uses a firmware that only
works on a certain model of Scientific-Atlantic modem, otherwise you get a
generic firmware that will use a slower speed.
But as someone else pointed out, make sure Comcrap is not expecting their
modem back, otherwise they may invoice you for it.
