[LUNI] Server with 8GB system RAM :: any issues to be aware of

no issues.

i went with CentOS for my first 20 boxes with >=8 GB (mostly 8 GB and  
16 GB boxes), about half Intel (Xeon) and half HP (Opteron).

for the Intel's, i went with Intel's S3200SH and not S3000AH.  at  
first, i was thinking of acquiring boxes for customers, and actually  
signed up for one of Intel's channels, but once there i couldn't find  
a distributor willing to sell me stuff for less than I could get it  
outside the "authorized" channel.
