Hey Branto,

Unfortunately, I would recommend avoiding Gentoo.  The last year plus
many common Gentoo packages (Gnome, Evolution, OpenOffice, etc) have
serious bugs and the stable versions are falling further and further
behind the current release versions.  I've been using Gentoo for over 6
years now and last month converted to Ubuntu because of the time the
bugs were costing me.  I will say I am quite happy with Ubuntu.
