[LUNI] Cheap laptops at Microcenter?

My six year laptop just died -- apparently it's the hardrive.  I was going to pickup a cheap laptop from microcenter, if I can survive with a six year laptop I sure don't need anything fancy.  I think their lowend module is Acer.  Anyone know if they install linux -- or specifically Ubuntu -- ok?
