I don't know about the "Express Card" specifically...  My EVDO built
into my Dell laptop was activated by just calling a number - I'm able to
*use* it in Linux with no issues.

Sometimes, however, just having that Windows VM, or small dual-boot
partition is necessary.  Best tool for the job, I always say.

If getting it working is a problem in Linux, I wrote a "HowTo" a few
