I don't think that is what Larry is talking about. The SIM in this
phone is for GSM (to access GSM nets outside the USA). I'm not sure if
you can use the GSM side only but as far as the CDMA side is concerned
you can't change providers or move to another phone by swapping the SIM
card. You will need to go to the provider and have a new phone
provisioned.
