The router is probably set for either DHCP or PPPoE. You'll need to get the
IP, netmask, gateway and nameservers from the ISP that's providing the T1.
You'll also need to login to the router to update this info. By default, the
WRT54G uses the IP 192.168.1.1 (or was it 192.168.2.1?). Type that IP into
your browser and you should be asked for a username and password. If not,
find out the gateway IP that the computers on the network are using and type
that into the browser.
