*Role:*

This technical candidate will provide support for the production and
development data centers. The position is responsible for advanced
troubleshooting of cases escalated to IT Operations and will assist
development teams when necessary.  The ideal candidate will have hands on
experience with full data center buildouts. Responsibilities will include
provisioning, monitoring, and maintaining core business servers.



*Responsibilities:*

·         Oversee and maintain configuration of Linux OS and SAN storage,
backup and other data center tasks as required

·         Act as main contact for various deployments, updates;  maintenance
of hardware, OS, and infrastructure software within hosted data centers

·         Networking support, troubleshooting, routing, switch
configuration, load balancers, and firewalls

·         Maintain, administer and support IBM Websphere



*Qualifications & Characteristics:*

·         Three – Five (3-5) years RedHat Linux administrative experience

·         Three (3) years experience administering various storage
solutions: SAN, NAS, DAS, Tape, including archival solutions

·         Excellent understanding of TCP/IP protocol server

·         Solid understanding of IBM Websphere application server

·         Strong knowledge of internet services and principles, including
DNS, HTTP, CPU, disk and memory utilization management

·         Experience handling, importing, exporting LDAP databases

·         Able to maintain and write system documentation

·         Capable of working  in a close team environment with a positive
attitude under pressure
·         Able to perform in an environment directly related to customer
satisfaction
