Ok. That still doesn't answer the question - what mail server is XO
using? I hate Windows, too - but Wine / Crossover Office work really
well here. I use that to get into Outlook for the things that I have to
do.
Also, how are you connecting to / retrieving your mail?
Assuming that XO is NOT using Exchange, I'd say procmail is the way to
go. You could also use fetchmail to force it to check for mail on the
remote end periodically, and I think fetchmail uses some basic rules for
filtering as well. You'd need some way to get the mail TO your machine
in order to have procmail work on it, of course, which is why I suggest
fetchmail.
