[LUNI] Ubuntu and ATI FirePro 2260 (PCI) cards

I was most definitely not using proprietary drivers, as it was a Sony
Vaio laptop and an external monitor...

And recent attempts (within the last year) have consistently failed to
get dual head with Xorg itself...

If you have a fancy card that uses the proprietary drivers, your
experience may well be totally different...

I usually have a cheap or hard-wired-laptop wack-o card to deal with,
myself. :-)
