Near where NWCLUG meets is the rebirth of a "mainframe" systems
programmers group that was on hiatus due to low attendance. If anybody
is interested in "back office server" Linux, the parent NaSPA does
include it their charter and annual two day conference in Arlington
Heights (Nastec). <br>
<br>
Let's get a lot of Linux people to attend and put Linux on their
agenda. I think previously the group has been all IBM, but, again, if
we get enough people, we could get other large system (e.g. large Sun
servers) included too. Technically, I think any non-desktop machine
qualifies to be covered.<br>
